Lake Boomanjin day-use area is a quiet K'gari stop for a shaded picnic, a swim or a paddle. It sits on the Southern Lakes scenic drive, where the lake edges meet scribbly gums, blackbutt and bloodwoods.
Allow time for the drive
The area has picnic tables and flush toilets, and is reached by high-clearance 4WD. The scenic drive is not suitable for trailers, so plan your route and vehicle accordingly.
